We are looking for a senior project manager to join the team to be responsible for bringing to life highly creative and ambitious projects that provide unforgettable experiences.

Objectives for this role
Working with the wider team, the senior project manager will play a key role in developing ‘one-of-a-kind projects’ – events, installations and concepts that aim to provide clients and guests with vivid experiences and create evocative memories. Through end-to-end project planning this role is responsible for identifying the necessary creative and production skills and resources required for each project, as well as forecasting and managing costs to ensure feasibility of the project idea, design and objectives and ensuring best value is achieved in line with the approved expenditure budget.
Project development:
- liaise with client teams and co-ordinate the preparation of estimates and contracts, while demonstrating to the client that the project fees represent excellent value with justified itemised costs
- participate in the creative development process, ensuring that outcomes are matched to HR and production capabilities, timelines and projected budget
- produce written and visual client presentations in collaboration with key staff and ensure that they are kept up to date
Project planning:
- establish the best operational approach for each project
- create all project administration documents such as estimates, scopes of work, timelines, briefing documents, production schedules, delivery plans, project progress status reports, H&S checklists, design risk assessments and construction phase plans
Project management:
- manage the financial aspects of the project that fall within your control including: estimates, production costs while tracking expenses, POs and invoices
- ensure that clear lines of communication are in place and that they are used by team members to deliver project outcomes in an efficient and effective manner
- manage all technical production requirements
- provide timely and accurate reporting in relation to the achievement of project objectives and financial performance and extract relevant learning
About you
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for events and approach tasks with adaptability and flexibility. We want someone who can show ownership of achieving personal objectives through positive action. This role will require someone to have best-in-class interpersonal skills that can communicate regularly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Working well as a team and helping one another to deliver projects and overcome hurdles is key at Bompas & Parr, so it is important that the right candidate can seek support at the earliest opportunity should problems arise as well as support their team when needed. The ideal candidate will have proven media connections and live event experience.
Essential experience:
- at least five years of client services experience and live event experience managing complex events and build in a high volume, fast paced and dynamic environment
- experience of working in a creative/design lead environment
- experience of end-to-end project management, logistics and live-event execution
