The opportunity
We are seeking a Part 1/ 2 architectural assistant, to join our growing architectural team, supporting all service lines, based in our Soho office in London.
The successful candidate will be working across a range of projects throughout the UK, with architectural drawings forming a large part of the initial workload.
As a small practice, and small architectural team, an entrepreneurial spirit is essential to maximise the potential of this role, which offers huge growth potential within the firm. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
Requirements:
- sound knowledge and experience of UK residential projects, regulations and standards, and the planning process and policy
- good construction knowledge and practical understanding of common construction methods
- a high level of design and technical awareness evidenced through a portfolio of project experience
- strong communication skills with fluent verbal and written English
- high proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchUp
- strong design and graphic presentation skills
- relevant work permits and currently resident in the UK
- full and clean UK driving license
