  • manage our annual calendar of entries to design awards and industry events
  • work with the senior management team to plan broader advocacy activities – including articles, conferences and trade shows
  • oversee our direct marketing activities – including promotional literature and email newsletters
  • liaise with our group marketing team as necessary, coordinating with larger corporate messaging and activations
  • undertake a process of continuous monitoring and evaluation, reporting regularly to the senior management team and making recommendations for action

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject
  • experience working in a similar role in a design consultancy, creative agency, architecture practice or cultural institution
  • strong theoretical grounding in B2B marketing and communications
  • experience managing social feeds, email databases and web CMS
  • experience working with CRM tools
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office and cloud applications and with Adobe Creative Suite
  • demonstrable experience developing and delivering marketing and PR plans and campaigns
  • strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • excellent written English
  • ability to work independently, taking initiative and being proactive
  • experience working in collaboration with team members/business leaders and communicating upwards to managers and stakeholders
  • ability to work flexibly, adapting to new ways of working, collaborating and incorporating other disciplines in development of solutions
  • demonstrated drive and capacity to innovate
  • excellent time management and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • effective and engaging presentation skills and confidence with a broad range of audiences
  • passion for culture, for design and for the art of creating compelling visitor experiences

Nice to have:

  • professional marketing qualification
  • fluency in another European language or Arabic
  • established media contacts
  • copywriting skills
