Whitby Wood has a vacancy for a marketing and communications lead to join its team in London.

Your role will be varied and be something that you can really make your own. Our business is friendly and encourages interaction, communication and the sharing of ideas across the organisation. You’ll be part of a small, friendly marketing team with line management responsibility for one person, so this is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to take that next step-up career wise.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
- delivering our practice communications plan
- working on bids and proposals
- overseeing our social media presence
- writing content for awards, bids and stories for our website
- managing our practice events and talk programme
- organising site photography
- liaising with client marketing teams on joint collaborations
The ideal candidate digits and skills:
- strong interest in architecture and design
- strong writing skills (Awards submissions, bids, project updates)
- great understanding on how to make marketing happen
- strong understanding of social media
- a team player
- three-plus years’ experience in marketing, communications or bids
- ability to use InDesign to create bids and proposals from existing templates
- good communication skills, including in verbal and written English
