Design International is seeking an architect to join its London-based team.

Design International is an international architectural practice providing retail, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use property consultancy services for clients across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North Africa.

We are looking for advanced grasshopper users to join our rapidly growing London office and become a part of our young, dynamic and competitive architectural team. This position will provide you with an opportunity to work on some of our largest retail and mixed-use projects in Europe and the Middle East, in an office recognised for their expertise in retail and commercial architecture. As architect, you will be a part of the design team, and you will assist with all aspects of the design process and produce excellent 3D images.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

– working on a variety of challenging assignments across all project phases from conceptual design through to construction documentation
– performing assignments under the direct supervision of the Studio Team Leader
– producing computer generated 3D artwork such as images and models for contracted projects according to the client brief on time and to budget

Required skills and qualifications:

– good written and spoken English, additional languages of advantage
– RIBA Part-III qualified/equivalent, with at least two years professional experience
– proficiency in the following design applications: AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Grasshopper and Microsoft Office Suite
– knowledge and experience using Revit, Dynamo, Lumion and/or Python will be of great advantage
– excellent design and communication skills, confident to communicate at all levels of the organisation and in a culturally diverse environment
– be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
– strong team player, but also able to work independently if need be
– be able to use initiative and a creative approach to problem solving

Salary: dependent on applicant’s level of experience + a discretionary bonus incentive scheme
Start date: immediately
