Blyth-Collinson Interiors is hiring a CAD designer to join its team in London.
We are a boutique interior design studio based in London. We work on a range of beautiful residential projects in London, the country and internationally. We are looking for a highly motivated Designer to join are growing team.
Job title: CAD designer
Purpose of role: the CAD designer is responsible for assisting the design team with projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- produce full drawing packages to include: floor plans, elevations, RCP’s, electrical and lighting layouts
- importing survey drawings
- creating interior SketchUp models and renders
- producing detailed joinery packages
- communicating with suppliers, architects, contractors and clients
- attend client meetings
- produce minutes after all contractor and client meetings to ensure any actions arising from the meetings are carried actioned
- processing design requests/changes and updating drawings
- general admin duties when required
Ideal candidate:
- rigorous attention to detail
- thorough understanding of Vector works
- three to five years’ experience in the in high end residential sector ability to multi task and prioritise tasks
Software used:
- SketchUp
- Vectorworks
- V-Ray
- Adobe Photoshop
