Ackroyd Lowrie has a vacancy for an associate or senior architect to join its team in London.
Ackroyd Lowrie, a medium-sized architecture practice in East London, are seeking a senior architect or ambitious associate to lead and coordinate a team on thought-provoking projects through design and technical stages. With 30 creatives and a strong pipeline of work, the practice is looking for a confident team leader to run their own projects with full autonomy while being supported by the directors and management team. The projects cover various sectors such as residential, commercial, education and the film industry.

Relevant skills and knowledge:
- the ideal candidate should have experience working on projects using a BIM environment. Familiarity with ArchiCAD, the software used in our office, is preferred, but if you currently use Revit, in-house training will be provided to support you
- experience leading a small team. Experience in running large-scale mixed-use, commercial and education would be a plus, across all RIBA stages
- in addition, the candidate should have excellent IT skills, be numerate and proficient in using spreadsheets and have an interest in innovative technology and sustainability. Ability to sketch/develop designs on paper as well as digitally, good working knowledge of Adobe Suite skills and experience in NBS Building/Create would be an advantage
