Wilkinson Beven Design is hiring an assistant interior designer to join its team in Birmingham, UK.
Wilkinson Beven are seeking to recruit a talented and highly creative assistant interior designer to be based in our Birmingham Studio. We are working on exciting, high-end residential projects in prestigious international locations and this would be an ideal career enhancing opportunity for a designer to work in this award-winning practice. Ideally, you will have already had some experience of residential projects, also having a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Podium SU, Enscape, Photoshop and InDesign. You should be creative, highly motivated and versatile, with the ability to develop design concepts as part of our team and work confidently to achieve project timescales. Commencing salary will reflect your experience.
Assistant interior designer:
- having around two years’ design experience, preferably with some residential knowledge
- developing design concepts
- a good understanding of presentation skills, using the software listed above
- excellent communication skills, working as part of a design team
- a good level of CGI visualisation skills, using the software listed above
- good AutoCAD drafting and detailing skills
- accurate administrative skills.
