Stefan Shaw Studio is seeking a Part 2/recently qualified architect to join its team in London.
We are currently seeking a talented Part 2 or recently qualified architect to join the team in our Peckham-based studio. The successful candidate will work on a range of exciting projects and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- contributing to the design and development of projects, working alongside senior architects and project managers
- preparing and presenting design proposals and producing detailed drawings
- liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle
- conducting site visits and surveys to gather information and ensure that designs are viable and practical
- contributing to project meetings and providing updates on progress and key issues
- keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and applying this knowledge to improve the quality and effectiveness of our designs
Requirements:
- Part 2 or recently qualified architect with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- strong design skills and attention to detail
- proficient in relevant software, including some if not all of the following – Rhino, MicroStation and Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- a passion for architecture and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions
