Miller Bourne Architects is seeking an architectural technologist/technician to join its team in Brighton and Hove, UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and talented full-time technologist/technician to join our friendly team at Miller Bourne Architects based in our studios on the seafront in Brighton and Hove.
The city of Brighton and Hove is a fantastic place to live and work, being a vibrant and diverse city located close to the South Downs and only 50 minutes away from London.
Whilst we work across all sectors, the majority of our work is educational and residential, and so experience in these sectors would be desirable.
The successful technician/technologist will need to be/have:
- at least three years’ post qualification, relevant UK experience
- proficient in Revit, AutoCad and Navisworks
- able to demonstrate a good technical and working knowledge of current construction legislation, details and techniques – knowledge and experience of MMC would be an advantage
- a good team player but with the acumen to work independently
- work to a high degree of accuracy
A clean driving license for all candidates would be desirable. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. New staff are expected to work in the office for an initial period, but following that, we offer 60/40 (office/home) hybrid working.
