Bindloss Dawes Architects are seeking Part 1 and Part 2/3 architects to work on a number of exciting new projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our up-and-coming practice as we take on a number of new projects and get ready to move into our new purpose-built office in September. For Part 1 candidates the job will offer a thorough insight into a varied array of projects, providing the opportunity to learn a broad range of skills across all RIBA work stages. For Part 2/3 candidates you will have the opportunity to run your own projects whilst being supported by experienced senior architects.
Candidates should have excellent design, technical and presentation skills, and be committed to delivering consistently high-quality work. You will be required to have exemplary organisation and communication skills, as well as having a proactive approach and willingness to learn.
You need to have a good working knowledge of Vectorworks, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and all Microsoft programs, as well as a high standard of hand drawing and model-making. Part 2/3 candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of job running and to hold the skills necessary to lead on projects through design, planning and construction.
The job will be based in our Bruton studio from Monday to Friday (but with some flexibility to work from home) and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. Salaries will be commensurate with ability and experience.
