Luxury showroom sales manager

Furniture manufacturer Coco Wolf Ltd is looking for a luxury showroom sales manager to join its team in London.

We are looking for an experienced showroom sales manager who will manage the running of our showroom in London – essentially, you will be the “go-to person” for the showroom.

This will be a varied role. At times you will be working independently, and other times, getting involved in the events as part of the marketing team. An essential part of the role will be to understand better the showroom visitors’ needs, specifically architects and designers, and be able to guide product choice. The showroom space will also be used for events and exhibitions, and the management of these events will also come under the role’s remit.

The key responsibilities of the showroom manager:

  • to proactively promote sales to the architecture and design community and retail sales
  • to ensure the utmost customer service and an efficient and timely supply of catalogues and samples to clients and prospects
  • accurate reporting of Showroom activity and feedback
  • to attend to all client requests quickly and cheerfully and welcome visitors with pleasure to the showroom
  • to always maintain an impeccable showroom and ensure that samples, catalogues, and office supplies are constantly monitored so that they are always readily available
  • to secure new clients from all areas, be autonomously able to introduce the products, and keep the A&D community continuously updated
  • to follow up on all calls, visits and contacts
  • to issue offers to clients and follow up
  • to process orders, transmit them to the headquarters, keep the client informed about production and secure payments
  • assist with delivery and handling of orders
  • to manage the day-to-day operations and run the store effectively and efficiently
  • oversee online orders to ensure customer service levels are maintained

The successful showroom manager will be:

  • minimum of three years of experience in the same or similar position
  • proven contacts with the A&D community
  • professional and cheerful demeanour with clients and with staff
  • fluency in English, both written and oral
  • highly organised, conscientious, flexible, and willing to work after hours and on weekends when necessary
  • preference for Design background and ability to read architectural plans and use Photoshop
  • strong IT Skills and applied social media tools
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • personal and professional interest in furniture and design by attending fairs, events and presentations
  • previous management experience in a luxury environment
  • meticulous attention to detail, both operational and customer-focused
  • well-presented and articulate, consistently demonstrating respect and politeness
  • ambitious and passionate about achieving results
  • able to engage with a wide range of clients with a professional, calm, and elegant approach. Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
  • a robust ‘common sense’ approach that can successfully handle multiple demands and priorities
