FBC London is hiring a procurement manager to join its team in London.

66 Pimlico Road, London.

£35k to £45k depending on experience.

Office based role – Monday to Friday – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with one unpaid hour break for lunch.

25 days holiday per annum including the three days between Christmas and New Year when the business is closed.

FBC London and Fiona Barratt Interiors are looking for a procurement manager highly organised and pro-active to take ownership and lead in their procurement process.

Founded in 2013, FBC London is an exclusive collection of handcrafted furniture which embodies Fiona’s signature style of simplistic elegance, luxurious detailing, and richly textured finishes.

We are looking for someone to be part of our small and friendly team to work with the design, production, and sales teams on the procurement process for all projects.

Outline of responsibilities:

  • oversee and develop the procurement processes, managing documentation, negotiation, and coordination with suppliers
  • prepare client packs to present with all items procured including certificates and warranties
  • prepare initial FF&E budgets and manage projects within schedule and budget. Also track and carry out all admin for orders, organizing storage, etc.
  • liaise and coordinate with design and sales staff and line managers on project related
  • liaise with the accounts department with financial updates for procurement
  • coordinating management, delivery, and installation of FF&E for all projects and client
  • prepare commercial invoices for purposes of import duty into foreign territories
  • ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and filed appropriately and expediently in the correct format and location both hard and soft copy
  • report back on project procurement issues to all relevant line managers
  • carry our quality control for new and existing suppliers
  • source new workshops in Europe and the USA

Skills:

  • you will be an excellent communicator to be able to liaise across design and sales teams and negotiate best terms with suppliers
  • knowledge in Microsoft office and EstiPC are essential for this role
  • knowledge of interior design is also desirable
  • the successful candidate must have excellent time management skills and be a natural problem solver
  • have a professional work and phone manner
  • this role would suit someone who works well under pressure and can remain calm with tight deadlines
  • the ideal person should have a flexible and helpful attitude
