Draughtsman and surveyor

Project London is hiring a draughtsman and surveyor to join its team in London.
We are an award-winning architectural design and project management team looking after high-end residential projects from concept to completion. We have some exceptional projects in our pipeline and are looking for the right candidate to join us at this exciting time.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carrying out measured surveys in the high-end residential sector.
This is a full-time position based at our studio in Parsons Green. Applicants should be London-based within a reasonable commute.
Responsibilities:
- attend all relevant site surveys to carry out all measured surveys and topographical surveys
- provide detailed report and accurate drawings
- ensure survey, drawings and planned installations conform to client and specification requirements
- translate surveys into Project London vectorworks classes etc
- ability to multitask and prioritise across numerous projects
- communicate effectively with clients and the architectural team
- assist our sister companies, Cor Domi & PL Glazing, with a measuring service when required
Qualifications:
- an Analytical mindset
- previous experience carrying out measured surveys of high-end residential projects (including apartments and houses with and without basement)
- surveys: experience in providing contours and spot levels
- ideally proficient in Vectorworks (2D) and Microsoft Office
- excellent creative and communication skills
- minimum three-five years’ post-graduate experience ideally on residential projects
- fluent in both written and spoken English
- up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations and codes
- own tools, preferred but not essential
