Salary range: £33,000 to £45,000, depending on experience

About the role of marketing and communications executive at Design International
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pragmatic, and versatile marketing executive to oversee all marketing, communications and business development aspects of our dynamic and multicultural organisation. This is a hands-on role and will suit someone with excellent strategic, creative writing and presentation skills, proven relationship-building skills, and a strong team player that works with enthusiasm across various administrative, financial, contractual/bids and design divisions. The ideal candidate shall have proven strategic marketing and communication experience, an understanding of business development and a profound passion for design, architecture, or real estate.
This role also requires:
- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to high levels of performance
- a flair for marketing, communications and PR, the ability to engage well with others and leave a lasting impact
- an understanding of business development, with the ability to proactively interact with clients, especially with the clients marketing and communication teams to pursue growth and development opportunities
- the ability to connect with communities, colleagues and stakeholders and build strong relationships
- excellent understanding and experience in using social media for business purposes as well as experience in using CMS and CRM software.
- a strong understanding of SEO principles, knowledgeable in video-editing and digital marketing is essential
- three-plus years experience in a marketing and communications role
- a degree or equivalent in marketing and communications
This would be advantageous:
- experience within the real estate, architecture or consultancy industry
- experience managing trade shows and conferences
Your responsibilities:
- manage and deliver the annual marketing, communications and business development strategies
- establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop and deliver corporate marketing and communications plans
- research and analyse market development and trends
- manage projects specifically related to achieving marketing plan objectives, corporate events, and all physical and digital collaterals (brochures, photography, website, blogs etc)
- prepare and develop internal and external communications, write press releases and create and manage content for corporate roundups and social media channels
- assist in the preparation of contracts and bids
- engage with business stakeholders, building strong open working relationship with colleagues
