Snøhetta is hiring an architect to join its team in Paris.
For more than 30 years, Snøhetta has designed some of the world’s most notable public and cultural projects. Since its inception, the practice has maintained its original transdisciplinary approach and integrates architecture, landscape, interior, product and graphic design across its projects. We represent a multitude of different cultural and national origins, with currently around 350 employees spread over offices in Oslo, New York, Innsbruck, Paris, Adelaide, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and San Francisco.
The Paris office was founded in 2017 and now has over 25 architects. We work on all stages of projects, from competitions through the development phases to site supervision. We manage a wide range of projects, from the rehabilitation of the Amandiers Theatre in Nanterre, a planetarium in Douai, the Cité administrative d’Etat in Lyon and the renovation of the Croisette in Cannes.
We are looking for an architect for our Paris office. This is a unique opportunity to work in an exciting workplace in an international environment with highly motivated and competent colleagues.

Formal requirements and competence:
- Master’s degree in architecture
- around two to five years of professional and post-grad architecture experience
- experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- an outstanding designer with understanding of buildability efficient and productive
- experience working in a team environment
- high ambitions on sustainability
- proficiency in both English and French would be preferred
- proven experience in and knowledge of climate-friendly architecture
Required technical competence:
- highly skilled Rhino, AutoCAD user, BIM and Revit skills preferred
- proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent digital presentation and graphic skills
- knowledge in environmental design tools such as Grasshopper, One-Click LCA, Ladybug and Honeybee preferable

- strong communication, collaboration, coordination, multi-tasking and organisational skills
- independent and self-sufficient, with a proactive attitude
- a high degree of self-motivation, flexibility and resourcefulness
