Mackenzie Wheeler is looking for a Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Mackenzie Wheeler is looking for an architectural assistant to join our team of ten architects and interior designers in Shoreditch. The practice specialises in architecture and interior design in the hospitality and leisure sector as well as notable work in the education and private residential sector. Our projects also often encompass refurbishment work and work on listed buildings.

The successful applicant should:

  • be fluent in spoken and written English
  • possess excellent design and drawing skills
  • possess excellent sketching, visualisation and presentation skills
  • be fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp and all general word processing software
  • have good knowledge of the UK building regulations
  • have an interest and experience of working in the hospitality sector
  • have experience with planning application processes and procedures
  • have experience of working with listed buildings
  • have experience of working on new build projects
  • have an interest in interior design
  • live within a reasonable commuting distance of Shoreditch

Other info

Mackenzie Wheeler operates standard office hours at 37.5 hours per week including “working from home” arrangements. We would also consider a part-time position. Basic holiday entitlement is 20 days with bank holidays and Christmas on top and additional days for length of service.
