David Chipperfield Architects is looking for qualified architects to join its Shanghai office.
As part of the continued growth of our Shanghai team, we are looking for motivated individuals who show a clear passion for design. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Project architect
Applicants must have a developed sensitivity towards architectural details and materials, and demonstrate a strong aptitude for conceptual thinking. Applicants must be skilled in autonomously organising and managing projects and show eagerness in teamwork. Applicants should have six or more years’ experience in the development and management of architectural projects including project resource management, client relations, organisation of the various project stages and on-site experience. The tasks include team management and overseeing design development, schedules, drawing packages, meetings and reports. Applicants must possess an established portfolio of built or to-be-built works, and good verbal and written communications skills in English. Chinese-speaking applicants will be preferred.
Architect
Applicants must have a developed sensitivity towards architectural details, materials and demonstrate a strong aptitude for conceptual thinking. Applicants should have two or more years experience in different project phases and show an eagerness for teamwork. Applicants must possess an established portfolio of professional works, and good verbal and written communications skills in English. Chinese-speaking applicants will be preferred.
