Role definition
Job title: studio manager
Reporting to: design director
Responsibilities
- to manage the administrative side of design projects
- office management and organisation – keeping office presentable at all times, ordering stationary and supplies
- administration duties – answering calls, meeting and greeting clients etc.
- drafting company newsletters and updating website
- IT support – managing printers, troubleshooting, managing subscriptions, keeping licenses up to date etc.
- PA duties to director – managing diary, travel, car, emails etc
- finance – liaise with accountant, client invoicing, manage expenses
- HR support – manage staff holiday requests, review dates, set up interviews, review health insurance policies, draft employment contracts
- digital filing and folder management – Dropbox/Google Drive/server
Qualities and skills required
Essential
- previous experience as PA, studio manager or EA essential
- excellent communication – both verbal and written
- positive and pro-active attitude
- self-driven and strong use of initiative
- highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
- able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently
- able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical skills
- able to use some of the following: Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- use of Photoshop and InDesign is preferable
Miscellaneous
- full-time, Monday-Friday, 9-6
- our office is based in Notting Hill
- salary based on experience
