Communications manager
at Drummonds
Drummonds is looking for a focused and committed communications manager to join the marketing team in London.
We are looking for someone to come on board and help network in the design community. The role will be connecting with the press, influencers and designers. We are looking for someone who has experience in the luxury sector and ideally in the design community.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way our company is perceived by key audiences. You will drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communications process from concept to message development to result-oriented evaluation.
Some of the key duties are:
- develop PR and external communications strategies in partnership with business leads to advance business objectives
- coordinate the production of promotional materials including releases, media kits and presentations
- copywriting for all channels including social media, press, blog, brochure and website channels
- working on events and networking alongside the creative director
- work with our social media and marketing team to tell our story in creative and inspiring ways that resonate with various audiences
- actively meet and network with the trade to build key relationships
- actively meet and network with the press and online press to represent the brand
Your profile:
- five plus years of experience in communications operations or in the design community
- planning and organisation of marketing activities
- experience in press networking and achieving global press
- contacts in the press/design community
- great copyright skills
- great networking skills
- experience posting and formatting content using a Content Management System
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
