Blueprint Architect + Builder is hiring a project architect to join its team in Bristol, UK.
We are looking to recruit a talented, ambitious and dedicated project architect to manage a range of high-end residential building projects in Bristol.

Blueprint is an innovative Bristol-based architect and builder company that offers thoughtful design solutions, brought from sketch to reality under one roof.
Specialising in high-end residential projects across Bristol, Blueprint’s small team of highly skilled tradespeople work collaboratively with homeowners to ensure consistency of quality and design from initial drawings to the finished build.
The role
This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, growing architect and build practice with exposure to a range of exciting projects and development opportunities.
You will oversee all aspects of our residential projects from concept to final build. Each day is different and will involve:
- collaborating with our clients to understand their project requirements and goals
- creating innovative designs, detailed construction drawings and specifications
- coordinating our on-site teams, interior designers, engineers and subcontractors
- overseeing the construction process to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
- managing project budgets and timelines
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working alongside our founder and director to shape the growth and direction of Blueprint.
The role is advertised as full-time but we would be willing to consider a range of working patterns and flexible arrangements for the right candidate.

About you
The successful candidate for this role will have the following:
- demonstrable experience as a registered ARB/RIBA architect
- proven background in delivering bespoke residential schemes
- working knowledge of UK building regulations
- highly personable with ability to build strong relationships with clients, tradespeople and subcontractors
- strong project management/job running skills with excellent attention to detail
- flexible approach with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for shaping the direction of a small start-up practice
- knowledge in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable, but not essential
