NaganJohnson is looking for a Part-I architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Nagan Johnson Architects is looking to appoint a Part-I (or equivalent) architectural assistant to join their small team in SE1. The candidate must be a friendly all-rounder with good presentation skills, including hand drawing and model-making. You should be willing to work on a number of projects simultaneously, both taking a responsive and diligent approach and being able to work in a small team as well as independently. We are a busy practice and there will be the opportunity to work with responsibility on small projects through to completion.
We would like to see a small portfolio with some examples of your hand drawing, CAD detailing and wider interests. Please send a formal cover letter explaining why you would like the position and your suitability for it. Candidates must have a good command of English and be available to work in the UK with no visa issues.
Key responsibilities:
- assist project architects with project delivery
- making physical models
- making 3D CAD models and rendering
- project admin
Technical skills:
- quick learner and ability to research creatively and independently
- good telephone manner
- software: Vectorworks 2D/3D, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
Salary – in line with RIBA guidelines.
