Mark Cooney Architect is hiring an architectural assistant and draftsperson to join its team in Antigua and Barbuda.
Mark Cooney Architect (MCA) is a recently established architecture and design studio based in Antigua and Barbuda. Our practice specialises in high-end residential and boutique hospitality projects. We aim to deliver carefully considered projects that work with tropical climate, whilst providing the highest levels of quality, style and comfort.
We are looking for candidates of all levels of experience that want to join us in creating a collaborative studio environment, delivery projects in some of the most beautiful settings in the Caribbean.
We are searching for ambitious candidates to fulfil two roles:
- remotely based and flexible-working contract-services, to assist in the design and delivery of several large residential and hotel projects
- in-house architectural assistants, draftsmen and BIM technicians
The roles provide an opportunity to learn, develop, contribute to design processes and delivery, with the potential to become a key member of a growing studio.
Applicants are required to have:
- strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- demonstration of experience with high-end residential and hospitality projects
- excellent design skills and graphic abilities, including knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, hand drawing skills and capability to produce still and motion visualisation
- good written and verbal communication skills
