Experienced architect
Gresford Architects is searching for an experienced architect to join its growing east London studio.
Gresford Architects are a friendly practice based in east London (with an increasing number of projects based in Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire/ Berkshire). Gresford’s have a deep love for great design and low energy architecture, especially Passivhaus.
We are searching for a design orientated, experienced architect with good job running, detailing and technical design skills, as well as an interest and knowledge of Passivhaus and sustainable design.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to run their projects from inception to completion and will take responsibility for their delivery.
Essential skills or experience:
- AutoCAD
- experience of running domestic projects
- preparing and submitting planning applications
- preparing and submitting tender packages
- knowledge of Building Regulations
- technical detailing for domestic projects
- contract administration
Desirable skills or experience:
- SketchUp
- InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- experience with listed buildings
- experience with ‘green’ technologies, especially Passivhaus
- driving licence and car
