Project architect/Part 2 architectural assistant

Atelierdb Architects is hiring a project architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our small London office to bring design and technical expertise and continue to elevate the architectural output of the practice.
The successful candidate will have up to five years’ qualified experience through RIBA stages 0-5 and be able to demonstrate competence in conceptual creative design, planning applications and detailed design/tender package information. Applications from experienced Part 2 candidates are also welcomed.
We work on commercial projects including a Central London Hotel, office fit-outs, education as well as design-focused private house projects across London and Surrey and beyond.
Experience and interest in historic assets and their refurbishment are important.
We are actively promoting sustainable principles with clients on private houses and are eager to continue and evolve our green skills and knowledge.
Candidate requirements:
- up to five years’ qualified experience
- have at least three years’ experience working in a UK office
- have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken, technical and social
- have excellent AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and Indesign knowledge
- have a good understanding of planning, permitted development and building regulations
- have a good understanding of construction technologies
- be experienced working with structural engineers, M&E and design team meetings on commercial projects
- possess design flair and creativity in balance with technical knowledge
- have a wish to help grow a small office through design quality and business development
