Architect/architectural assistant
at AAB Architects
AAB Architects is looking for an architect/architectural assistant to join its office in London.
We are a small design-led practice, with a range of projects including residential, education and community projects. A lot of our projects involve work to existing buildings, including conservation work and listed buildings. We take a lot of care with all our projects at whatever scale.
We are looking for someone who would enjoy the hands-on experience of working on a number of different projects. Skills required include good all round design and construction detailing ability; the position would suit a recently qualified architect or an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- good design skills
- an interest in works to existing buildings
- construction detailing proficiency
- UK experience across all design stages
- job running experience would be an advantage
- proficiency in MicroStation (or AutoCAD)
We offer a key role in the design and delivery of projects and a supportive environment to enable you to grow within the practice. Your role would contribute to the development and future direction of the practice. Part-time arrangements can be considered.
