We are seeking full-time highly talented landscape architects, at all levels, to join our London office. Work will involve the preparation of documentation for all phases of landscape architectural projects from conceptual design to construction administration.
Cameo & Partners is a design-led practice based in Southwark, London. We consist of a team that boasts a strong, committed, design-led approach with ecological and social sustainability responsibility. We work across all sectors, with particular expertise in workplace and high-profile public-realm projects. Together we have experience of a wide range of projects including major commercial and residential developments, public and urban spaces, historic landscapes, healthcare, education, and ecologically sensitive sites. We have a reputation for community orientated designs and provide unique and distinctive solutions to the challenges of urban locations and our Clients. Pollution reduction via design is extremely important to us.
Candidate requirements and qualifications:
- experience in all phases of landscape projects of varying scales, and expected to think critically to produce site plans, renderings, 3D models, AutoCAD drawings, details, and presentations for our projects
- portfolios should including a wide selection of work, from concept design sketches through to technical details/built work
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite is essential
- working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, Rhino and Grasshopper would be beneficial
- good time management skills, with the ability to manage the workload associated with multiple deadlines and projects
- a team player that is excited to collaborate, but is also self-motivated and can work independently
- possessing a proactive, positive attitude, and ability to work under fast-paced and changing conditions
- an undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture or architecture preferred
- excellent communication skills. Excellent spoken and written English
- applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK. Permits/visas to work in UK full time
- applicants should be motivated all-rounders with a positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate technical abilities and competence, design flair and presentation skills in a great portfolio of work
Successful candidates will ideally be CMLI (an equivalent overseas qualification would suffice), and have a strong interest and proven skills in landscape design and project management of landscape projects in the UK and/or internationally.
