Ström Architects is seeking two talented Part 2 architectural assistants to join our award-winning, design-led studio.
We are looking for two motivated and creative individuals to join our team delivering our growing portfolio of niche high-end residential and bespoke developer-led projects – both in the UK and internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in all stages of project development, within a small, collaborative team.

Ström Architects is a design-focused practice based on the south coast of England. Since our founding in 2010, we’ve built a strong reputation for delivering elegant, thoughtful architecture with an emphasis on clarity, detail, and meaningful design.
Our work ranges from one-off contemporary homes to ambitious residential developments, often in spectacular locations. We are a close-knit team with a supportive culture that values design quality, work-life balance, and professional growth.
The role
As a Part 2 architectural assistant, you’ll:
- contribute to concept design, technical drawings, and presentations
- work closely with project architects on day-to-day design development
- liaise with consultants and collaborators under senior guidance
- participate in design reviews, studio critiques, and internal workshops
- gain experience across RIBA stages and support project delivery
What we’re looking for:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- previous experience in practice
- strong design sensibility and attention to detail
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (or similar)
- experience of rendering tools such as Enscape
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude
