Part 2/3 architect

Al-Jawad Pike is hiring an experienced Part 2/3 architect to join its team in London.
The successful candidate for this role will be a highly skilled and motivated all-rounder with three to five years’ experience working in a small or medium-sized studio, preferably with one or two completed projects under their belt. The studio has several exciting projects at various stages that require an architect with excellent technical skills and the confidence and ability to manage projects in the critical stages of their design and delivery.
Other key attributes for this role include:
- experience of working on multi-unit housing schemes and retail
- knowledge of working across all RIBA work stages
- experience of working on existing and historic buildings
- ability to produce feasibility studies, stage reports, planning applications and tender documentation
- good technical skills and construction knowledge
- awareness of technical standards and building regulations
- evidence of UK site experience preferable
- ability to produce high quality images and proficiency in using CAD programs including
- Rhino and MicroStation are favourable
- excellent written and spoken English
- good time management and meticulous organisation
- ability to work as part of a small close-knit team, calm under pressure and has a friendly approachable manner
