Baca Architects is looking for an intern to join its office in London for a six month paid placement.
The team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented young designer to join its office for this design-focused opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be a strong designer with outstanding 3D modelling and presentation skills.
We are a young and dynamic multi-award winning practice internationally recognised for our low energy, flood resilient design.
We have just won an exciting new competition to build something very special on the Thames, plus some new competition work that is on the horizon. Other projects you might help the team to develop include a spa and hotel, a new tech campus and flood-resilient housing schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on all different work stages and future career prospects may be available for a permanent role with the practice.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- an outstanding design portfolio
- excellent communication skills – fluent in English, written and spoken
- experience with VectorWorks and Revit/ArchiCad (preferable or willing to learn)
- excellent Photoshop and InDesign skills
- 3D modelling and visualisation skills, SketchUp and V-Ray or equivalent
- good hand sketching
- team player and sociable
