Gensler is seeking Part 1 architectural assistant graduates to join its firm in London.

Each year, Gensler’s graduates represent the best emerging talent from schools around the world. Graduate positions in each of our offices provide unique hands-on experience on real projects, working side by side with our design teams and clients.

As a Gensler employee, you will be fully integrated into design teams, participating hands-on and collaborating directly with team members. You will work on projects from initial design development through to construction documentation. Your role

Gensler’s London office is looking for talented Part 1 architectural assistant graduates to join our creative studio environment in September 2019. Successful candidates will be focused on architecture projects, while also gaining exposure to a wide range of design experiences within our full portfolio of integrated disciplines: architecture, interiors, graphic/industrial design, master planning and consulting.

Your qualifications

We are in search of bright, dynamic and innovative Part 1 architectural assistant graduates; individuals who leverage their unique point of view to redefine what is possible through the power of design. We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • an outstanding student in the final year of your undergraduate degree
  • able to demonstrate excellent design sensibilities in your portfolio
  • highly motivated, with a proactive attitude and eager to learn
  • fluency in 2D and 3D software Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino, MAYA
  • great interest in current 3D Parametricism and BIM-related developments and tools
  • proficiency to create custom Revit families and adaptive components
  • willingness to autonomously and continuously expand own professional knowledge
  • proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • interested in Sustainability and Sustainable design
  • an excellent hand-sketcher
