Koichi Takada Architects is looking for advanced level registered architect/project architect to join its team in Tokyo.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the successful and smooth delivery of a current project in Tokyo and coordinating with our team in Australia.
We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in architecture with demonstrated 10+ years’ experience and have a strong knowledge of construction, codes, and compliance. You will demonstrate strong people and project management skills. You will be based in Tokyo.
Qualified candidates must possess:
- 1st class architect license in Japan
- 10+ years experience
- strong Revit and AutoCAD skills experience
- bachelors degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
- knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements in Japan
- proficiency with SketchUp
- LEED accreditation is a plus
- able to translate and communicate in English and Japanese
- strong communication skills
