Mutiny Architecture is hiring an experienced architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Mutiny is looking for an architectural assistant with two to three years’ work experience to join its team in London from 12 October 2026. The vacancy is open to both Part 1s and Part 2s, with experience being the more determining factor.

You will be working on a variety of commercial and residential projects, from full-building commercial refurbishments and extensions, through to mid-sized new-build residential developments and one-off houses, and through all RIBA Stages.

You will be required to assist the team to deliver high-quality design from feasibility through to completion and expected to have experience of working in an office, preparing and submitting planning applications, correspondence with the local authority’s planning department, and an understanding of the Building Regulations.

You will not be expected to be lead client or contractor meetings yet, but you should feel comfortable in client facing situations and contractor meetings.

Please note that this is an ‘in-office’ position and with the majority of our projects being located within Greater London, site visits and meetings will be involved.

You will have:

• at least two years in office work experience
• ability to work well in a team
• be confident, organised and proactive
• ability to use Vectorworks, Sketchup and Microsoft Office
• excellent written and verbal English
• be based within the Greater London area
