Alison Brooks Architects is seeking senior architects to join its team in London.
Senior architects with tall Building façade design experience
We are looking for senior architects with specific experience on prefabricated façade design and detailing (unitised, precast, etc.) for a high-rise mixed-use residential project in London currently at RIBA stage 4.
The studio
Alison Brooks Architects are a team of architects and 3D designers from around the world based in Highgate Studios, London led by founder Alison Brooks.
With a portfolio of high-profile projects in the UK, Europe, North America and beyond, our current work ranges from urban design, mixed-use residential towers to university buildings and experimental houses.

Key responsibilities:
- join a large project team on detailed design and construction documentation
- lead the project’s façade team
- liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- specification writing
- contribute to our design ethos, driving it through project stages
- report to and collaborate with our principal and senior staff to review progress
- prepare and deliver project outputs per the brief, schedule and resource plan
- present and communicate ideas to clients, collaborators and staff
- review, comment on and coordinate input from all stakeholders
- mentor junior team members
- progress and develop designs collaboratively, ensuring quality, consistency and completeness of all ABA documentation
Skills:
- seven to ten years’ post-Part 3 experience
- expertise in UK building regulations and fire safety standards, including Safety Act and CDM
- excellent technical knowledge of construction systems, for mid to high rise façades
- understanding of cost and carbon impact of materials and systems
- experience of procurement processes
- excellent verbal and written communication
- experience delivering complex Revit/BIM Level 2 projects
- experience leading or working in teams across project stages
- excellent organisation, time management and versatility
- strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
- degree in architecture
- registered architect
- UK project delivery experience
You will be based at our Highgate Studios office in London but may be required to travel as necessary.
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with ability and experience.
