Thirlwall Design is seeking an intermediate interior designer to join its team in Miami.
A boutique, high-end interior design firm located in Miami is seeking an intermediate interior designer with a minimum of two to three years’ of experience in high-end residential design. Growth of the firm through new and repeat clientele presents an opportunity for an energetic, motivated and passionate individual to grow with an established and fun-but-diligent design team with international projects.
Responsibilities include:
- support principal with all aspects of projects
- create and collaborate with senior designers to develop ideas, themes, and concepts
- meet with clients to program project requirements, including the development and management of budgets
- generate full design and construction drawings that meet company standards, including millwork details, in both traditional and modern styles, in AutoCad and Revit. Other BIM programs are a plus
- generate interior design concept presentations including FF&E, drawings and custom millwork design
- maintain good communication with vendors and contractors to track statuses and deliveriescoordinate with project manager, the logistics of product deliveries, additional services and supervision at installations
- assist on procurement estimates process
Requirements include:
- two to three years’ of work experience in high-end residential design
- bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited school
- proficiency in construction drawings, building codes, and FF&E specifications
- extremely proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, and Excel
- proficiency is ideal in Illustrator and Photoshop
- must possess extensive vendor and product knowledge
- ability to design and communicate for a range of client tastes from modern to traditional
- ability to prioritize and manage tasks against deadlines, maintaining constant communication with team members
- high level of organization, proactiveness and attention to detail
- must be extremely professional, polite, reliable, and punctual
- must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Full-time schedule: eight hour shift (9:30am to 6:30pm, with an hour lunch break), Monday to Friday
