Karakusevic Carson Architects is looking for a model maker to join its London studio.
Karakusevic Carson Architects is an award-winning and design focused Practice specialising in public sector work and social housing.
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, creative and self-motivated individual to join our studio.
Model making is rooted in the design ethos of the studio and is a key part of our design development process. This role involves working with multiple projects teams in the production of high-quality development models at all scales. Reporting to the modelshop manger, the role will also involve helping to ensure to the smooth day to day running of the model workshop.
Requirements for the role:
- highly skilled in CAD and Sketchup, knowledge of BIM desirable
- experience in a workshop, preferably in an architecture context, and use of various machinery
In addition, the candidate must have
- the ability to work to regular and quick turnaround deadlines
- outstanding craftsmanship
- a strong eye for detail
- creative flair
- collaborative nature and a team player
