MWAI is hiring a Part 2/3 architect to join its team in London.

MWAI is a London-based architecture and design studio with a strong focus on the high-end private residential sector, alongside select commercial and hospitality projects. We are known for our attention to detail, client-focused approach and the delivery of elegant, bespoke spaces.

Our portfolio spans private homes in prime central London, complex refurbishments of listed properties, and carefully crafted interiors that balance heritage with contemporary living. The role

We are seeking a talented architectural professional to join our team as a Part 2 architectural assistant (or a recently qualified Part 3 architect). This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in all stages of project development, from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on collaborative teamwork. We provide mentoring and support for RIBA Part III, with ideal projects for case studies, and proximity to Westminster and UCL campuses.

Key responsibilities:

  • assist in the preparation and refinement of design and contract documentation under the guidance of a project architect, or director
  • participate in presentations, site visits, and consultant meetings
  • foster constructive relationships with consultants and clients, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction
  • maintain high standards in design, communication, and professionalism
  • support project architects, associates and directors as needed

Required skills and experience:

  • exceptional attention to detail in conceptual and technical aspects
  • proactive, collaborative, and organized work ethic
  • minimum two years’ experience in a professional architectural practice
  • RIBA Part 2 or Part 3 qualification, or equivalent
  • excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • proficiency in Vectorworks, InDesign, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
  • fluent in English (spoken and written)
