Mid-weight interior designer

Stellar & Co. is seeking a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.
We are a small interiors studio based in SW London currently working on some interesting interior projects. We’re now looking for a mid-weight interior designer with minimum three plus years’ of experience in a design studio or similar. The role will allow the right candidate to be a key member of our growing studio.
The ideal applicant will be experienced in design projects from concept to completion – including design work, creating client presentations, technical drawings, good project administration, liaison with contractors, clients and the team. The role requires good technical proficiency, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
Key requirements:
- proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- proven experience and good knowledge of detailed bathroom and joinery design
- proven experience of functional and high quality designs for residential work
- experience of projects from concept to completion
- managing FFE schedules and procurement
- material and finishes schedules
- managing budgets within Excel spreadsheets
- liaison with contractors and clients
- strong organisational skills
- enthusiastic and friendly attitude
- ability to multi-task and work well in a small design-led studio
- the candidate should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and interest in the design industry – suppliers, other designers, materials, furniture, different design styles (antique, contemporary etc.), art and technical knowledge
