We are currently seeking a senior FF&E project manager to join our team in Berlin. This role is suited to someone with a refined design sensibility – someone who understands that calm is a form of clarity, and that beauty lies in the details we choose to leave in or leave out.
The role
We are looking for a well-experienced and detail-oriented Senior FF&E project manager. The position will take part in the FF&E team of our Berlin-based studio and will play a key role in providing our clients with trusted service.
Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in the whole FF&E and OS&E lifecycle in hospitality projects, excellent communication skills, the ability to think and work quickly, and organisational skills demonstrated by solid project documentation and adherence to project processes and projections.
Responsibilities:
- lead end-to-end FF&E project delivery across all phases, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and design intent
- develop, manage, and report on detailed FF&E and OS&E budgets, schedules, spec sheets, and BOQs
- source, sample, and specify FF&E items in collaboration with the design team, while coordinating production and delivery timelines
- oversee documentation, quality control, site inspections, and installation to ensure a seamless execution and final handover
- manage procurement processes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and project partners
- coordinate and mentor FF&E team members, supporting onboarding, workflows, and cross-team collaboration
- prepare and present clear, compelling design and project communication to clients and stakeholders
- travel may be required at certain times
Requirements:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or a related field
- five years’ experience
- capable of reading and interpreting architectural and detailed furniture drawings
- proficiency in on-site project management and field coordination experience
- experience coordinating with design firms, trades, vendors and manufacturers
- knowledge of sourcing, lead times, contracting and procurement processes
- experience in developing and coordinating FF&E and OS&E specifications including bill of quantities
- track record in creating FF&E and OS&E intend drawings
- excellent communication skills
- self-starter, innovative thinker, positive influencer
- advanced Excel skills
- proficient in InDesign and PowerPoint
- AutoCAD knowledge helpful
- German language skills are not required
