The Niche Corner (TNC) is a UAE-based boutique interior design studio that takes on projects locally and internationally. The studio specialises in creating minimalist spaces that eschew conventional stereotypes. With a philosophy centred on “doing design differently,” TNC aims to elevate quiet luxury. Founded out of a passion for merging design sensibilities with client vision, TNC has successfully completed a variety of full-villa renovation and interior design projects.

Role description

This is a full-time role for an Interior Architect/Designer in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate would:

• have experience of working in European/US markets in Interior Design- residential, commercial, etc.
• lead the design process for various projects, from initial concept through to completion
• prepare end-to-end architectural drawings, including tile plans, elevations, RCPs, floor plans, facade drawings
• work across all phases –  tender, construction, shop drawings, detailed documentation, design and delivery
• coordinate with contractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure seamless project execution
• be required to visit projects in Abu Dhabi, also, oen to two times a week

Salary to be paid in AED in accordance with market standards in the UAE. Visa to be provided with appropriate health insurance.

Also:

• must align with TNC’s design philosophy and sensibilities
• must be able to drive and have a car, and be able to start immediately
• must have a can-do attitude, be approachable and willing to learn newer ways of completing tasks

Skills and experience

• a degree in interior design, architecture or a related field
• at least three years’ experience as an interior architect, with a focus on residential projects
• proven track record of managing complex design projects from concept through to completion, with the ability to fully liaise and manage the project with the contractor
• act as the first point of contact for the contractor
• strong design sensibility with a deep understanding of materials, detailing, and finishes
