We are looking for an outstanding Part 2 candidate to join our studio as it continues to grow. Candidates need be an excellent designer and communicator, technically practiced, have a keen interest in building innovation and experimentation, and be capable of tackling complex geometry both digitally and through physical prototyping.
We are an award-winning, London-based architecture studio with a highly acclaimed portfolio of finely crafted buildings, innovative public sculptures and regenerative urban landscapes. Current projects include a landmark 40m tall tower artwork for Manchester city centre, an extension to the Grade II* Listed Lansdowne Club, a conversion of a water tower into a home, a structurally innovative library and dance studio in a remote woodland setting, an exhibition design for the Barbican, a community hub in Montrose Park, a public sculpture in Doe Lea, and a large-scale lighting installation for Weymouth’s iconic promenade.
The studio is a RIBA ‘Role Model Practice’ and we are proud to have won 15 RIBA Awards. Our recently completed Old Shed New House is the winner of the 2018 Stephen Lawrence Prize.
Required skills:
- advanced 2D and 3D draughtsmanship: Vectorworks and Rhino preferred
- high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- proven experience in construction detailing
- ability to work imaginatively and rigorously, both independently and in a team
- fluency in written and verbal English
- minimum two years experience in a UK architecture practice
