Chapman Architects is hiring a project architect to join its London practice.

Chapman Architects is seeking an experienced senior architect, to join its friendly, award-winning RIBA Chartered Practice, in Waterloo, London SE1.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious architect, wanting to join a small to medium sized practice, with exciting career prospects. We are currently expanding.

We have a portfolio of high-end projects in and around London, mainly within the commercial sector, and to include headquarters buildings, high-end retail and sports and arts facilities. Our work encompasses both new build and the retrofit of some unique buildings.

Qualifications, qualities and experience:

• experience of working on high-quality commercial projects in London
• a strong work ethic with the ability to lead a team of architects to deliver medium sized projects
• a self-starter able to progress projects through all RIBA work stages, with client interface
• experience of working with clients, contractors, and consultants
• proficiency in BIM with outstanding design and technical skills
• excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• agood knowledge of London’s planning laws, and experience of working in conservation areas
• friendly and personable
