HoD Architects is looking for a part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are a small and busy practice. We undertake private domestic, small commercial and local authority projects and are frequently involved in work to listed buildings or within conservation areas.
We are looking for someone to deliver high quality projects but also be active and see the potential rewards from helping to grow the office.
The role includes:
- assisting the project architects with the running of several projects concurrently, at various stages
- preparing and submitting planning applications and liaise with all consultants needed to do so – ecology, drainage, engineering, arboricultural etc.
- assisting with the delivery of projects through later RIBA work stages including contract administration while projects are on site
Candidate requirements:
- recent Part 2 graduate or have a few years of experience post Part 2
- have experience of the Adobe software suite and capable of producing SketchUp or Rhino models and 3D visualisations
- looking to undertake Part 3 in the future
- excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
- candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
