Senior architect
Beaumont Offices has an opportunity for a senior architect to join its team in London.
Job profile
High-level support in the design, extension or alteration of both existing buildings, and new fit-out and refurbishment projects. In an accelerated growth phase, you will work closely with the CEO and COO to ensure proposed designs match our highly flexible, cutting edge serviced office needs, and ensure plans are functional, safe and economical.
Key responsibilities
- preparing and presenting feasibility studies
- preparing architectural designs and drawings with attention to accuracy and detail
- preparing applications for planning and building control departments
- excellent spatial planning skills for preparation of office and ancillary area layouts
- preparing base drawings in CAD for client’s own design team
- preparation of construction drawings and details, including tender documentation
- liaising with other building professional consultants
- developing and maintaining project deliverables
- keeping within financial budgets and deadlines
- developing a deep understanding of the nature and quality of materials required
- working with the sales team on client move-ins, expansions
- partnering with the operations team on building the knowledge of design principles within the business, so that design and operational effectiveness go hand in hand
Competencies for the role
- relevant architectural qualifications
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency
- 3D modelling skills with Sketch Up or Revit or similar an advantage
