CAD draughtsman
at Duffy London
Duffy London is currently seeking a CAD draughtsman to join its London design studio.
The candidate must be a skilled industrial furniture 3D CAD/Rhino technician.
Duffy London is a design and manufacturing studio based in East London, designing some of the furniture worlds most cutting-edge concepts and design pieces.
Designs are ideas-based, combining art and function whilst playing with the concepts of gravity, geometry and illusion.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- producing 3D visuals and conceptual proposals for clients around the world creating technical drawings for manufacture
- overseeing projects and working closely with our in-house manufacturing team
- assist in the day to day running of the studio
Skills and experience:
- professional in 3D CAD/Rhino or any other associated field (excellent knowledge of Rhino 3D is a must)
- a minimum of two years professional experience in a similar role.-Proven skills in Adobe Suite and 3D Vray/corona key shot it’s a plus
- making skills would be held in high regard.
- interest in 3dprinting
- good spoken and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus
