Studio manager

Divercity Architects is seeking a studio manager to become part of its team in London.
The role
It is a multifaceted position with wide ranging activities (including PR comms and new business). We are looking for an organised, efficient and creative individual to join our growing team as studio manager at our Shoreditch studio. You will contribute to the day-to-day running and promotion of the studio, including HR, creative marketing, and administration support.
Main activities/tasks:
- assisting in the day to day operations of the studio
- produce, write and edit press releases
- website update
- social media strategy and implementation
- external newsletter
- project text, in collaboration with others
- award coordination and preparation
- managing speaking opportunities
- industry event/attendee organisation
The candidate’s skills and experience:
- three years’ experience in administration within a creative environment
- multi-tasking and working within tight deadlines
- excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner
- good knowledge of InDesign
- able to demonstrate basic graphics skills ensuring that existing standards are being met
- excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- interest in architecture – experience of working in architectural practice advantageous
- excellent organisation skills
- great attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- good interpersonal skills at all levels, internally and externally
- good planning and time management skills to prioritise tasks in an efficient manner
- a minimum of two years’ marketing experience
- experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on PR/comms strategies to meet company objectives
Employment type: part-time (two-three days per week)
Start date: immediate start
