Interior architect

Responsibilities:

• manage and create interior designs on different scale levels by developing design concepts and schemes
• manage entire project process including planning, staffing and monitoring
• prepare and develop design drawings and other related documents from preliminary design up to realisation phase
• constantly exploring innovation in products, materials and techniques relevant in the interior industry
• handling a full set of working drawings
• able to interpret program requirements into an interior design solution
• prepare tender documentation package including drawings, schedules, and specifications

Requirements:

• you have a demonstrable track record in of four plus years in interior design in educational, healthcare, public building, culture or hospitality projects on different scale levels
• your portfolio demonstrates a high level of proficiency in design and detailing
• you have the skill to engineer your design
• you are skilled in using Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Enscape or similar programmes
• you are highly creative, proactive, exploring and decisive
• you have an exploring nature and you love a professional challenge
• you are able to work on schedule and you can handle deadlines
• you are confident to work independently and as part of a team
• you have the ability and confidence to deal with clients and suppliers
• you have an industry recognised diploma or degree in interior design
• you have a permit to work in the Netherlands

Although not all colleagues are originally from the Netherlands and some of the assignments are abroad, the official language is Dutch. For this particular position command of the Dutch language (B1, B2 level) is required. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be taken into consideration.
