Define Planning & Design is seeking a visual communicator to join its firm in Birmingham, UK.
Define is a planning, urban design and landscape practice based in central Birmingham. We provide consultancy services to high-profile clients in a range of development sectors.
We are an equal opportunities employer looking for the right person from a graphic design, branding, and/or 3D visualisation background to visually-communicate both the work we do and our brand moving forward.
You will have a naturally-creative mind and be full of ideas to create inspiring visual communication solutions. You will have a strong understanding of layout, composition, colour theory and typography.
The role will require the individual to design and/or update various documents, plans, diagrammatic information and other materials as well as producing 3D-visualisations for specific projects.
You will be proficient in Adobe CC packages such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience and an understanding of 3D/video animation software is also an advantage.
We are interested in hearing from individuals starting out in their career or equally those with more experience. You should be working towards/have graduated from an honours degree-level graphics qualification or equivalent and have 12 months or more professional graphic design experience. All must demonstrate a match with the key qualities set out above.
