Architect/Part-II/interior designer
STAC Architecture is looking for an architect/Part-II/interior designer to join its London team.
STAC Architecture is a young design orientated practice that places the importance of design excellence at the forefront of everything we do.
STAC specialises in residential and restaurant/retail design sectors. With exciting new clients and projects on board we are currently looking to expand our restaurant/retail design team.
We would like to hear from job running architects and interior designers with a minimum of two years experience post final qualification.
The role necessitates an excellent understanding of detail design and experience with running jobs on site would be beneficial.
As well as a proven track record for design and job running each candidate will be required to demonstrate that they are self-motivated, organised and willing to work as part of a wider team.
Salary will be determined on an individual basis for the relevant amount of experience and ability to fulfil the needs of the role.
Key criteria:
- two+ years experience post qualification
- site experience as lead consultant, preference is to have restaurant or retail experience
- confident in design and communication with excellent written and spoken English
- experience in technical detail design
- clear understanding of materials, both traditional and new
- strong conceptual design/thinking
- ability to work within a team as well as organise and run your own projects
- excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- welcomes a challenge and the ability to resolve design problems
Role:
- designer and job runner
- design, detail and execute fast tracked projects with ease
- report to senior members of the team & director re: job status, workload, resourcing etc.
Nice to have:
- Vectorworks experience
- Mac experience
- Adobe Suite
- strong rendering is a plus
- Rhino
- SketchUP
