Head of design

FullCircle is seeking a head of design to become part of its team in London.
Job overview
The prime function of this role is to manage and drive the design department of FullCircle. You will be responsible for overseeing the team’s day to day time and activity, maintaining and build on the team’s clients and projects and work with the managing director to identifying and target leads, and formulating ongoing strategies relating to the design department and the wider company.
Principle job duties and responsibilities (specific to staff member):
- oversee the management of all design work for group and bespoke clients
- oversee all strategy relating to the design team
- input into overall company strategy and work with the managing director and senior team to implement key milestones
- manage all staff members of the design department
- manage and maintain the FullCircle website and marketing materials – design, photography, look/feel etc
- manage and maintain artwork for promotional documents (creds etc)
- support the sales team with power points, visuals, creative input and budgets
- liaise with suppliers and run budgets in connection with FullCircle and freelance project managers
- manage suppliers and freelances on site during creative builds etc
- manage creative projects from concept through to completion and cash up
Principle job duties and responsibilities (general):
- handling creative enquiries
- arranging and attending client site visits
- managing client information using the Eventworks system
- product sourcing and freelancer/crew hire where required
- ensuring all paperwork is in order including job sheets, H&S docs and equipment lists etc
- managing the event on the day and overseeing set-up/de-rig
- event follow up and invoicing
- building and maintaining client relationship to encourage repeat business
- hosting clients at hospitality events when required
- take enquiries, create proposals and manage all aspects of the booking and cash up process
- manage and maintain a portfolio of existing clients to encourage repeat and new business
- promote and advertise FullCircle and its products to encourage new clients and bookings
- promote FullCircle and Vibration/CH&Co Group by demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the group and its partners
- have an in-depth knowledge of key competition and their strengths and weaknesses versus FullCircle/the group/companies
- manage bookings, cash ups and client information through Eventworks ensuring this is relevant and timely
- attend relevant trade fair/exhibitions/networking events and company promo’s as requested by your line manager
- participate in familiarisation trips, site inspections and client entertaining as requested which may include some out of hours and weekends
- identify new opportunities for the business to proactively explore and support where necessary
- prepare and track project timelines and budget to achieve objectives as set by your line manager
- ensure all clients understand all products and services on offer from the FullCircle companies
- manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and manage our recommended supplier lists
- maximise each event sale by ensuring optional extras are taken up by clients where possible
- produce full proposals and costings
- produce contracts and client invoices
- ensure all clients invoices are paid in full and on time, chasing debts where necessary
- ensure all paperwork is in order including job sheets, H&S docs and equipment lists etc
- act as an ambassador of and credit to the company at all times
